Frequently Asked Questions

What is the max guest count at Ivey Acres?

We can seat 200 in the chapel and in the outdoor ceremony site. The reception area can hold 200 inside, but if we use the outside area and porches, we can seat 250.

What is the deposit amount to reserve the venue?

We require a $1500 non-refundable retainer to hold your date. Half of the remaining balance is due 6 months before your event, and the remaining balance is to be paid in full 60 days before the event.

Do you require insurance?

Yes, as most venues do, we require an event rider policy. We work with Nuptial to help you get set up with this. Once you book, they will reach out to you to help you obtain this.

Do you have restrictions on outside vendors?

Being a new venue and not having worked with many vendors, you can use whomever you want! We do have a list of highly recommended vendors we are happy to share with you! Just note, we have not personally worked with them before. Caterers must be licensed and insured; however, homemade desserts are welcome. The only vendor you will be required to use is our in-house bartending service. No outside alcohol is allowed. You also must have security if having alcohol at your wedding, and we can help you with that as well!

Do you have chairs and tables?

Yes! We have chairs and tables that are included in the rental, and we are happy to help you pick the best layout for your event. We also have white tablecloths that are included. If you want a different color, we have a vendor you can use for that.

What about lodging?

We have 3 one-bedroom cabins and 1 three-bedroom cabin that we rent out on the property for an additional fee. These can sleep a total of 21 guests. We partner with several other Airbnbs that are close by, and the Hilton Garden Inn in Longview, which is 26 minutes away.

Are pets allowed?

We love our furry friends! We do allow them in the ceremony; however, we do not let them attend the reception. During the ceremony, we do ask that they be kept on a leash and have a designated handler.
